DSM 5 and Breivik’s sanity

What’s normal? Without a clear understanding of what human beings are meant to be and what their purpose is, it’s very hard to work out the meaning of ‘normal’. Just think of the recent court finding that Anders Behring Breivik was sane when he killed 77 people in Norway last year. Meanwhile the world guide to normality, DSM IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders version IV), is being updated and generating debate in the process.
